Where to get TTi kits?
I'm interested in checking out Turbos for my 2000 SS... I've been looking into a lot of threads and keep hearing great stuff about the TTi Street and TTi Race Kit.. I was just wondering what would be the best for street? I already have a cam in my car.. so i'd be pushin quite a bit of power.. but i still want my car to be a DAILY DRIVER..Will i need a Built 4L60E? i drive it a lot over summer.. so i don't want it to be unstreetable.. But i want it to be pushin around 500 RWHP.. I should be around 400 RWHP as of now.. Is anyone running a Turbo at the track with the STOCK 10 BOLT? What kind of prices am i looking at for New or Used kits? and which companies have any of you had experience from? If anyone could help me get going and give me a price range for EVERYTHING thing i need.. i'll see if its in my budget! Thanks a lot for the help!

If you want 500 at the wheels through an A4 plan on a few things like A seriously built tranny, 6.0L heads if you can swing it so that you can lower the compression a bit to run enough boost through that tiny little intercooler to get 500 (on pump gas) and then of course there is the forged internals that will follow shortly. The stock pistons dont do really well with that kind of power, I know first hand and other guys with similar setups can vouch. Maybe you will be lucky though? I run a 10 bolt but I had an upgrade done and am using the TA girdle cover. I am going to try Moser axles this summer and only run Nittos. I am keeping my fingers crossed but Im not super hopeful about long rear end life. Im not an expert or anything but I have a TTI kit running 500 through an A4. Good luck with the project!
Turbo Kit = t60 $4500 t76 $5100
Trans build = $1500
Heads = stock 6.0 $500 Patriot stage III 6.0 $1600
Springs & Pushrods = $350ish
Injectors = $450
Fuel pump = $110
Dyno tuning $500
Boost & fuel pressure gages = $250ish
Shortblock = $2800

As far as costs are concerned Libertine1015 summed up most of it......not including a butt load of installation costs if you can't do it yourself. I'm looking for similar goals but the costs just add up for forced induction.
Pro Stock John,
Are you sure LS1 speed carries TTI's stuff? When I talked to them they said it was custom...are some pieces custom and others from TTI?
Libertine1015,
What kind of boost are you running and what's preventing you from turning it up?

Well I think i would definately go with the T76 turbo.. But i was planning on running stock heads and see what i can get out of that.. I already have a cam so i have dual valve springs and chrome moly pushrods.. A 4L60E with a shift kit and tranny cooler wouldn't hold that power? I'm not necessarily going to push 500RWHP.. i'd be happy with 450-480rwhp.. But i would definately need a fuel pump, injectors, dyno tune, and boost&fuel pressure gauges.. so if i didn't change my heads or buy a built 4L60E.. It would run me around $6410 brand new.. Do i necessarily need to build my trans? Let me know and thanks for all of the replies you guys.. i couldn't find that kit for the life of me through our sponsors haha.. Thanks!
