I want to start off by thanking whoever deleted my post on here for whatever reason. I was getting some good info from the post, but oh well! I just wanted to let those who were interested know that I met with Rob today and bought the QMP turbo car. Rob is more than a nice guy, he has been nothing but helpful and just an honest guy to deal with. The car is better than I ever imagined! This thing has 99% perfect paint, the interior is super clean, and the car drives like it just came off the showroom floor. It is a complete beast on the street and I couldn't be happier. I dont know how many QMP kits are out there, but if you are looking for a turbo kit and can find one, buy it! The car drives like a stocker when you are cruising, but is plain sick when the boost comes on. THANKS ROB!

nice! didn't that car have a dent in the fender or something? you get the fixed or still have it? Just curious.

 

Im pretty sure Rob fixed that, atleast that was it said when QMP's site was up. Congrats on the car, that thing is wicked!!!!!

Nice car, do you plan on racing it at the strip? Or is it just going to be a street car for you? Remember to get that 12 bolt for it soon.

Yea guys it is amazing. The car drives 99% like a stocker, but it is wicked fast and I haven't even boosted it past 12lbs! It will come unglued at around 80 mph with ease. I am going to get some good pics tomorrow and thanks for all the compliments!

 

Ya I talked to him about buying the car. But decided to turbo mine instead. Need to finish one project before buying another.

Since it was public, what did it sell for..I was gonna bid to 16k or so, but figured I had no chance.

 

Yea Jammer I think the reserve was 17k, but it looked like it was going to do around 19 or so, but you never know. It might have stayed around 17k. If I decide to sell it I will let you know. I tend to get tired of things very quick, but I doubt I will get tired of this thing!

 

It was just a momentary thought as I continue to search for a car to do lapping sessions..In the end I will likely end up in something quite different for that...but, it was a fun thought.

so what kind of power does it make, and what engine is in it now, an iron block or what? is it built or stock? hard to keep up with that car..lol

it still has a 10 bolt with 410's. those will soon come out though
