It's a stock LS1 bottom end. My car is a 2000 C5 with 55k miles on the chassis. About 16 months back I had an oil pump failure on the original motor and it was completely replaced by GM/dealer with a brand new LS1.

So, it's circa late '02/early '03 and should have the updated GM rod bolts. Has only 5000 miles. It came out when my Forged MTI motor went it. Is a shortblock w/rotating assembly. No heads, intake, or coverings either. MTI makes you move all the covers like timing gasket, oil pan, etc over to the new motor.

Shipping origin is from Florida Zip 33009, method cost of your choice, coming from a Chevy dealer. We should have a crate available. Plz contact me via PM for any Q's.

I'm in Boca but the motor is currently in Hallandale. I do have 1 interested party ahead of you at moment. If you wanted to schedule a pick-up at the dealership that could work with advanced notice.

Feel free to PM me for my email address.

so just to reitterate this new shortblock only has 5,000 miles on it...

I think a stroker kit is a waste of money since you are going fi.

pro, you get more torque
con you're spending 4,000 for a stroker kit.

Like little smoke plumes of smoke coming out of the oil fill cap when it is removed.
It is an indication that the pistons are getting blow by during it's explosion, either by the piston rings, or a hole in the piston itself.

The pressure then travels inside the engine and blows the dipstick out.
When you take the oil cap off, you see the evidence there, getting the "choo choo train" effect.
