I just got home from racing a guy and there is oil all over my engine compartment. I have an ATI DSC1 with 8 lbs of boost. What can be done about this and what causes it. I am new to FI so any help would be appreciated.

Get the Catch can on E-bay. A non Greddy catchcan like mine will run you 50 bucks.. Follow the instructions and cap off the passenger side of the intake. Get rid of the pcv system and run your catchcen to the open air like I do or run it back to the blower inlet, before the blower so it will suck, If you put your vent system after the blower at all your pressurize the block and keep popping up your dipstick.

Just had the exact same problem. Tried the catchcan, breathers, bypassing the PCV valve... nothing.
Found out that 3 of the 8 pistons had chipped rings.

I had my dipstick pop out as well 2 years ago. Turned out to the a hole on the side on the #6 piston.. Rebuilt motor!! Now my #6 piston is my paper weight in my office... I tell people this is what happens when you run too lean! Stupid ATI FMU and Stock Injector setup!!! Damn FMU was faulty and caused me a good chunk of change to rebuild my motor..

When you rebuild it make sure to pressurize the oiling system before rotating the shortblock at all.....I'm on my second lesson after 500 miles on my new motor....this time W2W is building it!
