Default STS results

I finally got to dyno my STS Trans Am. It's running at 5psi with the low boost and 9 psi at the high. I think I'll back it off to 8 psi until I can get a forged bottom end. I got 370 hp from the low boost and 462 on high with methanol. The turbo is a Gt-67 and the car is stock except for the Nelson Performance tune. The runs were cut off because of the lean A/F. Looks like I need some injectors.

Ouch, that AFR is sacring me. I'd personally stick with the low setting and not get into any high rpm stuff till you get that tune fixed. otherwise you're gonna end up buying a new motor.

The #s wont look really good till that is corrected.

What's you're next step?

I wanted to see how the methanol would affect the A/F ratio. This is the first time the car has been run since the turbo install. What size injectors do most people with this setup run?

I was running 43s around that power level. I'm sure once I got over 500rwhp my injectors were walking the line.

What are your end results??? That you have to ask yourself..... are you happy with what you have now??? If so just get a set of 42#ers and be happy...... if you want to turn it up some go with a set of 50's or 60's so down the road you dont have to buy injectors again.

Kyle is right, just step up to as big as you can afford. Buying injectors 2-3 times SUCKS ask me how I know

What are the limits of 50 pounders. I looking at 346 with 12 lbs STS and a 100 dry shot.

Looking at the graph it looks like it has a lot left in it. Get some fuel up top and run it again. Looks like you have a good set up once it is all sorted out and tuned.

I wouldnt doubt that your MAF will be maxed with 12 psi... then you want to spray a dry shot of nitrous witch adds fuel by using a MAF reading...... bad choice....... wet shot man or your asking for trouble...... why do 2 power adders anyways..... its harder to tune..... just run more boost.....

Its not lbs of boost that really mean anything... all the number is is a restriction of flow........ It all differs by each vehicle..... yours could be by 12 or could not...... the stock MAF reads till a certain frequency and after that its dead...... that why people are always talking about going into the PE table and maunualy adding fuel.......

Don't screw around with injectors and get some 60's. I thought I saw a good price in the GP section. Even 42's are going to be at the limit.
