its comedy I tell ya..look at 'em..
.

BTW, the ugly filter is gonna be history.
I was gonna mount gates up front fo a little better reading..but this is just the perfect spot to let the most out when needed.

I don't think that would matter since all it does is reduce the exhaust going to the turbo. It opens up and closes at a certain PSI and shouldn't make spool up any longer than it would normally be. Basically as long as it's before the turbine or running off of the wastegate port you should be fine.

I am not a subject matter expert in any respect so someone please correct me if my logic is way off.

When that baby opens you should be going over 100mph so I doubt if you will even notice not to mention that its the same gas that comes out of a tailpipe and not many of us run cats anyway so looks sweet!! bad *** set up!

Ive experienced cars have boost control problems from the wastegate being too far away from the turbine, thats the only reason I mentioned it, usually its advisable to locate the wastagate as close to the turbine as possible for better control.

Do you have pics of the turbo flanges? How much room right in front of turbos? This is how I did mine... I was also told by several that the WG's need to be close to the turbo's..

Flipper...I want the waste gates to exhaust without restriction...for instance, with yours the exhaust has to make a "hard" turn"...Which isnt considerer Ideal..I'm of the beleif there isnt a better location than the one I have chosen..but then again...opinions are like a-holes... I plan to use brake line as my vacume line where possible to minimize expansion losses.

BTW, your set up looks sweet!

Not sure what you mean? The way the exhaust exits the waste gates? Or the way it turns to mount the turbo's?

LIKEWISE!!!!

What are you using for a return oil pump?

Modified STS syle universial oiling system/

What I mean is if the waste gas cant exit as smooth and as quick as possible, it can effect the way the system operates..when my gates open, I want smooth easy flow characteristics.

Understand what you are saying, just for the record I have NO issues it is working perfectly like this (if it helps)...

So did you buy a tilton pump, weldon or buy directly from STS?

Im sure yours does, I was just aiming for what seems to be "ideal". STS does not sell oiling systems only. They offer a "universial kit" which includes the turbo and a whole lotta parts, but allows you to do some fabrication pipe wise. That may work for some people, but selling the oiling system alone is not something they offer to the public as far as I understand.

If making your own oiling system...I've heard the Tilton is a good pump, along with the Weldon.
The big challenge is this:
Two 2.5 exhaust pipes going to rear
2 2" IC pipes going from rear to front
Vacumme/Boost lines to rear
Oiling lines from front to back, then back to front
Fuel line
Fuel Return
I HAVE TO RUN all this stuff in some type of "clean" manor.
So far, all that is in its perminent location is the exhaust.. lotsa work ahead and pics to come...as long as theres interest I'll share my experience.
