Default Turbo teaser

I have been considering getting a STS turbo for a while now. I have a completely stock 1999 Trans AM WS6 6 speed. I know there are many threads about the STS already and trust me, I've been through most of them. There is many things I want to know about the STS turbo. My 99WS6 is my daily driver. What set-up would be best. I want a nice dependable FAST car. SHould I go with the GT-60 or GT-67? Methanol injection? I plan on upgrading the fuel pump and injectors either way I go. What kind of 1/4 mile times are you stock LS1 f-bods turning out on this kit? Has anyone had any problems with this kit? IS THIS KIT WORTH THE MONEY? I really need some help. PLEASE!! Anyone and everyone tell me all you can.. Just don't tell em to look at the other threads.. I've seen them all.

First off I would recomend going with the intercooler kit that you can get for STS kits, as for the GT60 or 67 what are your power goals?

The intercooler will be a very viable alternative to meth, you can also run meth with the intercooler to further prevent detonation problems if you really need more power too.

I would say that the kit is worth the money.

The only problem i see with the kit is that people are getting water in the system.

As for power goals. Do you plan to build a motor to run lots of power or are u just looking for 400-450rwhp.
Also dont for get a new clutch and maby a new rear to go with the added power sence u are a M6

I'm not looking for TONS of power. I would like to mantain my car closer to stock. I have no plans on building up the engine. I would like to have the power there if I wanted it though. I'm not sure how big of the difference is between the GT60 and GT67, and which one would be better for me.

How much more is the 67 over the 60. I would say just go ahead and get the 67 because once you got the power bug you cant shake it and you will regret that u got the 60.

This is fact. Most of us if not all said at one time or another (all i want is to run mid11 or i just want 500rwhp). Then it happened a mouth after it was in you got your *** handed to you or just did not put up the time you wanted or you got the time u wanted and you wanted to go faster.
