Congrats, but it's about time! For that kind of time and money, Ronnie and boys could have been running 6s in other race cars.

i dont care if it was at a tech event or not it still went 7's. thats cool to me. and what is the real difference between the c5r block and a stock one? not too sure of that one, but hey im a retard when it comes to that stuff. congrats on being the first. i do believe you will be joined shortly be some of the other guys on this board with the right setups. mike&steve, harlan and all of the othes, good luck to you all and hope to make it to an event this year to see a clash of the titans. once again congrats

as for records only recognized in ls1tech shootouts...i guess no one wants records set huh? give me a break. only allowed to make records at what, 3 or 4 events (maybe).
I never said it was easy, you did.All I'm gonna say is wait till Spring(maybe sooner)and the record will fall again.

Records already been broken again. Yesterday, I went 6.91 NA on drag radials on an icy track at 6000 feet. But I'm not going to post the video.

Congrats to the Hardcore boy's! If you went 7's you are the pioneer on this board no matter what the other guy's say. It doesn't matter if you did it at a TNT or a LS1tech event. It just matters if you did it.
Also Ronnie, good job putting the Prochargers back on top. No turbo LS1 has run even close to that ET or MPH.

We'll see next weekend if we can get our junk down the track.

I think we have establised a rule for recods to be broken in 2005 they must be made during an event in qualifying or eliminations to actually go in the LS1Tech books.

Tom
If he runs a legit number at a track it should count as a record imo!

Congrats Hardcore! I am sure others will be in the club soon but it's nice to say you were first!

No kidding, its done (if its true of course) and time to move on and give the guys a thumbs up. What happens next spring is cool and all but anyone can take their car to the same track right NOW and run it and kick his ***..

As far as money spent 80% of the guys that have built blower/turbo cars have spent enough to build a 7 second race car and havent even ran 9s

Now who is going to be the first guy to run 6s..

No question, a record is a record and props for that but to go on the books here it needs to be set at an LS1 Tech event. What sactioning organization recognizes a number that was not run at their event??

It's simple, show up to an event and run. If you can do it at TNT then you can do it at an event.

That is not taking anythingthing away from the awesome work Hardcore has done to run a 7.

he ran a 7 regardless............WE just havent seen proof yet.

btw.........so far there is more proof of him running a 7 than there is of the existence of god.......but how many people believe in god?

I must have missed that rule. That would mean that records at the Thunder Shootout wouldn't count either. Give me a break!

Awesome car up there in Flint, guys , I think some of the natives here are just a bit jealous!

Tom, your my buddy and all.....but i have to disagree with ya. If he has video and a time slip, then what he did is done and should be considered a record here on this board. If Harlan did it at a TNT, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Not a shot at Harlan, just stating my point.

Of course we wouldn't be having this discussion, we'd be too busy watching the video over and over again.

Until I see a timeslip then we are the first ones to go 7's. Hell, we have many witnesses from this board that seen it happen at the Southern Shootout.

Coming on here making a post that you went 7's without offering a slip. But saying if you come to our open house we will show you. That's bullshit. Is business that bad? I think things like this, among other things is why Ronnie's shop doesn't get the respect it should.
