You should easily figure out that the car doesn't fit an NHRA class, other than bracket racing (which sucks).

Congrats to Hardcore. You guys did again.....no matter what anyone says on here you guys did it first and seem to do it all the time. You put a really good combination together and certain people can't handle that.

I don't know what they ran. But shouldn't you say the 7 will not be RECOGNIZED by some of you hear as far as records go on this site until they show proof , instead of that they did not run a 7 until they show proof.
Because if they did in fact run a 7 second et. , what we believe or see proof of does not change the truth. If they did if fact run in the sevens , it does not matter if some of us ever see a video or not.
I used to not believe in the Easter bunny, but it's rea.... Wait thats a bad example. LoL.
But seriously I have never been to California, and have only seen it on TV, but if it's there, it's there regardless what I believe. I don't know if the record is true or not, but our opinions , or lack of proof right now DON'T change fact IF it is real.

Well even if he did run 7s thats with a c5R block and heads with a mallory distributor while everyone else runs ls1 motors with coil packs.I dont see why it took so long to do it with their setup.

Gary, it's already up. First paragraph, last sentence under "Change of scenery provides same result for Patrick"

The Hardcore Motorsports team established history as they became the first LS-1 entry to produce a seven-second lap with a 7.94, 176.53.

I don't get into the issues many of you guys have with these guys , but I sense from this post that These guys possibly running sevens seems to have actually upset many of you guys. LOL. From many of the post in this thread, you would think they have crushed you guys hopes and dreams of being the fist to run sevens or at least the hopes you had for whoever your favorite car is. Seriously, I get the sense from this post, that some of you are actually upset while you are typing. I am not taking sides , because I don't know what is going on with all the bickering in the past with guys at this shop , or if the car did run the number, but da.m .
I personally like Lt1's better for race cars than the ls1's since they can use sbc parts. Personally, I as an "LT1 guy" wonder what took ls1's so long to run 8's and then low 8s , so I could say the same thing " I don't see whay it took Ls1's so long" , That you say about the C5R, but what's the point?

Congrats to the guys at Hardcore, great accomplishment to be the first in the 7s. Obviously there are some guys on here that wished they could have done it first. But notice toward the begining of the thread on the competitionplus pics the Hardcore car was on page 39+40, way down on importance to the rest of the dragracing world. Oh well, great job anyway .
