I was wondering about the placement of the wastegate.I asked you in an email i sent you and you said the WG is mounted on the crossover pipe where the two headers meet the turbo. But from the pictures i've seen i just can't see a flamge for it.I asked a few turbo people, and they couldn't figure it out eather.I'm interested in the hotparts, but want to clear that up first.

In those pics the flange was not mounted yet. they were waiting to see where the customer wanted it.

So when i order the hotparts it'll be there? That's good to know.I can only go by pictures right now seeing as how i haven't heard of any people actually running their parts. But it looks good so far.

Here's a pic of a cutomer's kit I just finished and shipped. This is where the wastegate will be mounted on the kits. This customer has a Tial 38mm in hand, our kits will come with a Tial 44mm.

So does the downpipe connect to the exhaust or is welding required? It looks alittle short to reach the I pipe.

Need to do some welding to make everything bolt up.

The downpipe heads under the K-Member and you'll have to figure out how you want to run your exhaust past that...

So basically i might as well just have the shop that usually works on my car weld me a downpipe.Gonna be alittle cheaper.

The downpipe has a V-band flange welded onto it to fit the turbo specifically... It then runs under the K-member. This is where you should look into an exhaust shop. You can choose to have the downpipe seperated into two pipes exiting the back like normal, or you could have one large dump-pipe with a bullet muffler, if ground clearance looks like it could be salvaged with a dump I'll be headed down that road.

I'm already running dumps as it is.No ground clearance issues, but i'm also very carefull.Turbos don't need backpressure really. So a downpipe with a couple of 02 bungs should be enough right? We don't have emissions here in Florida.

Also.I would probably go with my own turbo so i wouldn't need that flange.
