Turbo up and running
Just thought I'd let you know that I finally have my set-up running. I added an intercooler, turbo (rear mount) fuel pump (340 walbro). So far it sounds mean and is VERY responsive to the throttle hit. I can't wait till Jason can fit me in to tune her up. Wer'e hoping for 550hp at the rear wheels. I also added a catch can for the pvc system, hope I plumbed it correctly

How bout some pics????
What intercooler did you use?
What turbo did you use?
What did you wind up doing for a oil system?
Follow this link, it will give some pictures. I used the OBX intercooler off e-bay with a masterpower T70 and .68 AR housing from Hosea. Oiling I used a tilton differential pump. very easy set-up that way. I was smiling from ear to ear when I finally cranked it and heard the turbo

I'm installing spring loaded check valves in the feed and return to see if that solves it.

I will hopefully get my home computer back soon then I will get more pictures up. BTW, do you have to run a vaccum line back to the waste gate for it to open properly? I guess this will show my ignorance but oh well!Wolfee

I can relate to that. I drove my truck for the first time yesterday with the turbo. Had a grin from ear to ear. I thought I would miss the whine of the old roots supercharger. NOT. The whistle of the turbo sounds much better.
