Default High compression w/ low boost.

How capable is it to run 11: 1compression on7psi?
I running a 383 LT1 LE2 heads, solid roller cam, which I will change to a blower grind. The cam I have now is setup for N/A. 11:1 compression. Cometic head gaskets, ARP head bolts, 42lb injectors and lots of tuning w/ big fuel pump.
I want to run around 6-7 psi. Im using a V1 S Trim. Any other weakness besides detonation, or blowing the heads threw my Hood?????????
Please help?
Thanks

Man, you are gonna have some serious tuning issues or need to run 100+ octane fuel at all times using those settings.
At a minimum you could try to run some thicker head gaskets but keeping them from blowing out could be fun.
Good luck, let us know how things turn out.

Cometic sales head gaskets as thick as .100 thousanths.
I dont know how well they hold up though w/ that thickness.

READ THIS!
By using this formula
((boost psi / 14.7)+ 1) X motor compression = Effective compression
On 7 psi, my EC is 16.2:1
Need your thoughts guys!!
