Question Will My Car Like An Ati Blower?

well i know i would like one but will my car with its current mods?

222/224 .566/.568 114 (negative overlap)........ im guessing the cam is ok?

BIG HEADS! 2.05/1.60 230cc intake 89cc exhaust...im guessing they will work?

around 10.6 and 10.7: CR ..... i think this may be a problem?

4:10 gears...... im guessing blowers, dont like these?

CA smog..... i think it will still pass? the sniffer anyway?

well, thats what im thinking about.... a D-1SC low boost.... but would like to see 500rwhp and still pass smog. as long as i dont have to change my current set-up.... if i buy a blower (4-5K?) i wont have any $$$ for anything else....

so what do you guys think. is it workable, or am i dreaming!
if you think it is workable please let me know what i need. and how much it will cost!

thanks guys!

that big of a valve on a stock bore isnt gonna be optimal. valve shrouding will be an issue. but to answer, yes it will love it. just watch teh tune and run really good gas. that high of a compression ratio and more than 7-8 psi - watch out.

Wow your car is going to be even sicker man... trying to keep pace with Ed?

That'll be awesome... Hopefully whenever I get my turbo in I'll be around 415 rwhp. Is your bottom end built? If I was running 500+ rwhp I would start putting spare money into an emergency engine fund... just incase you never know (lol I still might with my "wimpy" 400 rwhp). Good luck though it's gonna fly

be sure you finish your bolt-ons first.... HEADERS, y-pipe, maybe an LS6 intake and a pulley?

i bet a good turbo cam would really help make some more POWER!!!!!!
good luck man let me know when you get it!

we'll race!

With 7psi u will be close to 550rwhp with that C/R. Keep an eye on the knock. Make sure u run conservative timing and AF. Good luck.

When I had all the bolt ons, MMS stage 2 heads, 224/224 566/566 114 and a vortech making 7 psi I hit 514 rwhp and 571 rwtq through JBA shorties. I dont think 500 would be a problem for you

Yeah I ordered it today (plus some other goodies), I'm excited! It's like Santa is coming...

Later on I'll add some more things, but right now I'm all spent money wise. That's the cool thing about the STS is that I don't need headers. Turbos create a certain amount of back pressure and headers are designed to relieve it. An LS6 intake and a UD pulley would help out for sure, but I really don't need them right now... I'd gain more with an intercooler.

I'll definitely keep you updated, for sure we can have a little friendly race... nothing too crazy though, because I need my clutch to last for little bit Let me know how the Procharger goes! That thing will run like a raped ape...
