Default Is E-Boost a great boost controller ???

If yes, who has the best price.

If no, what do you think is better and why?

I am all for saving $ so if there is something out there that works as well or better for less $$ let me know.

Thanks in advance.

I have heard some good things about it. The only reason that i'd ever want to run an E-boost controller is to have 2 separate boost stages... other than that, manual is the way to go imo.

i want to be able to ratchet up and down at will without crawling under car. the other really sweet feature is that you can program different boost levels for different gears to help out a bit in the traction department.

They are awesome units, I have had many customers call back and give the units praise. They are also coming out with a smaller packaged version, which will be nice for mouting in smaller places.

Jose i know you have a great price on them and you said they are coming out with a smaller unit......... i believe i saw a pic of the newer unit and it had a wierd looking piece coming off the side...... ill see if i can find a pic..... my main concern is can we still get the size and look of the old one or are we stuck with the new one????
I am really wanting to run this boost controller like Heath mentioned.... to help traction off the line with my 6 speed and be able to change the boost im running on the fly. PM Mighty Mouse he was very helpful with answering my questions.

I can get you either one.

As for the new stuff coming from turbosmart, you can look on our website link below. Its the new catalog showing the different options and look of the new E-boost.

The E-boost is 60mm right and fits in the ac vent perfect? So that means the 60mm Defi gauges I think thats what they are called would fit in there to?

I like the E-boost beacuse you can fit it in the ac vent. Makes for a clean install.

I understand the size and mounting issues. This is being used on 6, 7 second cars also so it has a few more features geared towards high end boost control. Just wondered if this is the type of control you were looking for. Sorry if I hi-jacked the thread.

the e-boost guage is enough...it reads boost..and has peak hold.

honestly...with a turbo..the boost comes in so fast..i dont bother looking at it...after boosting..i will hit the peak recall to see how much i got.

Yeah but you wanna make sure that I don't over boost. But I think the e-boost has something for that right.
