Default Procharger F-1 Help

I just upgraded to an F-1 Head unit and there is not much room to filter the inlet of the blower unit. Any suggestions on a type of filter system or do I have to find a metal fabricator to move the radiator forward some??? 1-2 inches is all I need...

Or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated

I had the same problem on my f-body, I never ran a filter, but the radiator would have to be moved foward to fit one.....I know they sell 90 degree bends, but that still wouldn't fit....

I think its going to look like a hat over the blower inlet. It looks you need around 2" clearence to fit the HKS filter. Here are some pics for it http://www.importcarpartsplus.com/In...ksMegaFlow.htm

There was a possibility of putting a notch in it, its custom fabrication work, but thats the only way to get room to squeeze one in

I took my fan shroud completely off and even trimmed 1/4 inch off of the inlet hat ring and still no luck on the inlet hat over the F-1 it's just too damn big.

Went with a redesigned Radiator from evans cooling. Dim were 28 X 2 5/8 X 14, Dual Spal 11" fans. Fans are on a switch that I activate when I want them on. I cut them off above 35 MPH and when I am not driving around town. I raised the radiator and it allowe me to run a tube under the radiator that was 4" in diameter. Radiator is good for 475HP. Being that I dont use all of the power all of the time, I did not require a 900hp radiator, which no one would be able to fit in their car.

Not no but He*l no... The soft rubber could not stand up to the suction of the impeller blades... Instant cavitation of the elbow under acceleration...

So the only options are no filter at all, or relocate/move the radiator?
