New spring/summer D1SC project car :)
Figured my old 2000 SS went 10.90s fairly easy (10.60s with a 50 dry shot) on 8-9psi with a 6 rib P1SC with stock intercoolers with a 100% stock motor I should be able to get in the mid 10s fairly easy on pump gas. Nothing too exciting nowadays but it passes the time around here
After doing several you just know what to buy right off the bat instead of doing the same thing over. Plus every year the cars get cheaper, just harder to find a clean stock one.I'll try to spray a little eventually I'm sure. The small dry shot with the P1SC worked great, especially in the hot weather, when boost dropped bottle pressure would be higher. On a 100 degree day at 3500' DA I ran 6.90s in the 1/8 with the nitrous which is awesome for that weather, blower only was 7.20s that day. When it was cool the car ran in the 10s on the blower alone - it was a real nice combo, plus the 15lb bottle lasted forever with a 50 shot turning it off at 5800rpm.
I'll get the car down to ~34-3500 raceweight.
Compression is 9.5 or so, not really that low but good enough..
