Bad weather for me is rain.

I thought you were working on that concrete pad thing. I kinda figured a fence might block the wind. I dunno. The local observation for ABQ didn't show that, so I guess I'll never be a weatherman.

Good luck on the coating. Looks really good so far!

I wish ABQ was closer, I'd fly down there and give ya whatever help you needed.

Yep the car is on the pad, which is bordered by a big dirt backyard just 4 feet in front of the car Its also bordered by a fence and the side of my overfull garage...so it acts like a wind tunnel on windy days. Going down to checker auto tomorrow afternoon to buy an enclosed 20x10 tarp garage tent for my car...just for crap like this.

Thanks for the offer on the help you rock It'll be done PDQ...our weather is looking better for the next 3 days and that should be all the time I need to complete it.

Another post....nope that'll happen when the car is running..

Here they are...

Turbo is now coated...waiting on my "painter" to show up today to do the rest of the pipes and manifolds...was going to do them myself...but I can't even spray paint well.

That's the new OBX 4inch thick FMIC Looks great and my mount that I fabbed up myself looks awesome. Its stronger than the cut up bumper support I had on there, coupled with that thick *** FMIC and i'd say I have some crash protection

Was going to start on the IC pipes but my helpers S.O. took him away. Thats a two man job and i'll tackle that in the morning.
Now if the "painter" will show...

GT42 is a garrett turbo...and thats all I know. The one I have is good up to 1100hp so I'd say 900hp is more realistic.

Kyle, they are showing up for me??? I've never had problems with my pics showing up, and they are in your quote too....you dummy don't quote the pics too

uploading the y pipe pics and the downpipe, we will do the headers tomorrow ran out of time to finish up the coating process

EDIT ok here they are...don't crack on em too hard...the "painter" never showed so I decided **** it....

This is my favorite pic, got it without the damn flash and the reflection is awesome...the pipes are dry to the touch in these pics FWIW.

Getting there fellas.

Hard to tell from the pic's but they look good to me. Plus who's going to see them once on the car unless you run them over.

They look pretty good, the garage is now high temp coated That **** gets everywhere I got some plastic sheets and put them over what I could, but you can see my lil chop saw is silver, my ET streets are silver too. It was dusty from putting the plastic all over everything and that clung to the pipes, but I'm not going for a show stopper just functional....just like you said, who is going to see em
I'll be doing the headers outside tomorrow.

I plan to polish all my stuff. Don't really know why I figured that I had the time so just do it. Get that bling factor going on. Plus if I ever run someone over they can see the bling.

I wanted to keep the under hood temps down, too many fricken wires to toast in these cars. I shoulda stuck to air cooled V-dubs
