Stock long block turbo combination
I will be coming into some cash in the next 1-2 months, and have decided to 'invest' it in my Z. I intend to install a Phamspeed turbo and intercooler kit, and will be retaining the factory (<50k) long block. Ported 6.0 heads and forged pistons will likely come about in the next few years, although I will likely not increase displacement. I would like recommendations to make the most power I can out of this combo, but remember that this is my daily driver, and I fully intend to run pump gas. I need help in selecting the proper cam and converter to maximize efficiency form the GT42 that comes with the kit, and any other toys you guys can recommend (fuel, ignition, etc). Also, how would I go about getting it tuned after I get it installed? I live in central IA, and don't know of any place around here capable of such a task. I know that Speed Inc. is in Il, would they be able in helping me get a CONSERVATIVE tune? Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance for the help.
