Street tune turbo AFR? 11.5 or 12.5?
I've been getting mixed messages on this. I've been told 12.5 should be the AFR target if you tune for a turbo on the street and that 11.5 is the dyno target because it will be leaner on the street...
I'm running a megasquirt and can set an AFR target for WOT. I know Parish is shooting for 11.5 in this table, but have been told that's too rich. I've also read where 11.5 is considered a safe tune.
Any clear this up for me? (In the mean time, I'm runnning 11.5

Yes you do tune a little to the rich side on the dyno, (also depends what kind of Dyno) but if you are running 11.5 now on the street that is a good safe A/F, But if you are not running a lot of boost you could go up to around 11.8, but there are other factors involved such as timing,RPM. More Boost, less timing, Richer A/F. Less Boost= opposite. Makes sence ?

i run a 12.20 up to 8lbs and then i shoot for 11.20, over 15psi 10.8-11.20
just me personally
you could just slug it into the 11.0 range right away, and it will love you
i have seen nearly no hp response to cutting 11.8 to 12.5 in boost so as long as it isnt breaking up fat its ok hahah
