between what the p-1sc and the d-1sc? well from my understanding the p-1sc is intended for cars that will not be heavily modded besides the blower...the d-1sc is intended to be on an application that will have other significant mods other than the blower itself.

what i'm more worried about is when some asswipe cops decides to pop your hood and give your car an **** probing.
like what happened to this guy:

this sucks 'cause i'm heading out there!

I feel pretty safe cruising my car around SoCal...but turbo cars tend to be quiter then their N/A brethren. I've had a lot of cops around here give me nods and thumbs up when out in my car.

As stated, the ATI P1-S1, the Vortech, and Powerdyne are Superchargers that are CARB legal. The ATI D1 is not CARB certified.
The STS will be the only turbo to become CARB legal later this year.

to even have a chance at smog in cali the cat has to be infront of the turbo(s)??? why difference would that make besides making ur spool time longer. the cat works wether something is infront or behind but it might take a little longer for the cat to come up to operating temp maybe if not infront of turbo(s) but still works after 15 minuts of driving if that.

No one is disagreeing with the stupid logic behind it. Most California drivers would agree. Who cares!!! If it passed emissions (the sniffer test) and it wasn't insane loud, let the people do what they want to their cars. If after-market CATS can get the job done, let them use it.
Truth is, it is a revenue generating scheme. I do not believe that the laws in Cali will ever change because there is too much income that is now dependant on it.
