looking good. your probably gonna want to build a silencer for the mondo unless you really like that high pitched jet plan sound when you accelerate.

That looks great ! Man, I wish us guys with T/A's could get the bumper to look good after it has been cut-open like yours.

Thanx guys, I'm glad you like it

Blackbird: That BPV is pretty loud but at this time I'm liking it. After a while I can see it getting anoying so I might have to do just that. Any reccomendations as to what to use?

WS-Sick: I'm extremely relieved! Now I just hope there are no glitches, (fingers crossed).

The bumper did turn out better than I thought. Just seeing the pics of it off the car it looked kind of funny.

Well I've got some driving done. Clint came over and helped me tune and adjust things.

Had to adjust the Mondo BPV so that it would close easier and the car wouldn't hesitate as much. I'm only seeing a solid 6#'s of boost on the SDCE 7.25 crank and 4.0 blower pulley. I want to be around 8-9#'s so I'm going to get a 3.8 pulley and hope that'll do it

Also having some issues when coming to a stop. I have to approach the stop fairly slow other wise it'll stall out. Throttle follower has been adjusted and other things I can't remember. Anyone have any suggestions? It idles perfect except when coming to a stop.

Flooring it already? Yikes!!!!

I just tuned another one of our FMIC cars yesterday, and with the idle, you should set yours around 40 IAC counts to help out. With our 7.25 crank, and 3.4 pulley on the P1SC, I see 11.5PSI at 6100RPM. Add some running Air/Flow if they doesnt help also.

Currently the IAC's are around mid 70's at idle, so I'll work on adjusting by doing the TPS trick tonight to see if it'll help. I'd like to avoid drilling the TB. Thanx for the suggestions Rick.

Also it looks like I'll be getting a pusher fan or two. My temps are around 205 a little higher than I would like it, especially since it's not that hot out yet. I should also have some IAT#'s once I get some more data logged.

Brian..

When I did your Throttle Follower in the tune, there is still more to go.. Your IAC counts do need to be around 40 or so like stated above.. 3 things.. Mess with the Throttle Follower raise is another 25% or so. Idle air raise that as well, and do your trick to the throttle body, that will solve your problem with the stall coming up to a light.. Again your KR, L Trims, Timing all looked perfect.. We can add a little more timing at the dyno. Also fix that Coolant Leak, that will help a lot with your temps on your motor. I know it's a small leak but the coolant need to be under proper pressure to maintain correct temps.. Of course the little pusher fan will help as well.. You car ran very well lastnight, felt strong.. If I was you I would go with a 3.75 Pulley, that would give you a soilid 9lbs at 6,000 - 6200 rpms.. With the Math I did that would be spinning the D1 to 47,600 impeller rpms at 6,000 engine rpms, with still another 14, 400 before over spin on the blower.. I know you'll take it to 6500 engine rpms at times, which will be just fine..

With your motor broke in and your lower than 10.1 to 1 compression, and at this altitude running 9 to 10 lbs will be just fine.. Just make sure you keep on top of that tune..!!

Let me know if you need anything from me..

If you havent already done so, add more timing to the idle park and drive spots. With cams that size, I wind up running a good 28 * at idle and it cleans up better than you think. 22* I run on stock cars and small cams. Sometimes I have to go bigger as well too. Try that. should help alot.

Interesting.. Didn't think with the 115LSA that would matter that much. He's running about 22-24deg of timing at idle.. It's worth a try.

If you have HPtuners, you can add timing in real time and you will be able to listen to the motor change. You can almost do it by ear to help you out.

Hey Clint! Sorry I've been really busy this weekend with my brothers graduation, and my brithday stuff. Only thing I've had time to play around with is the TPS trick to try and lower the IAC counts. Well.... I've got the voltage reading .58-.59 and it only lowered my IAC counts down to 62. I'll have time to play with it tonight, so I will add more to the throttle follower, and play with timing a little.
