The na testing we did was with a cnc chamber only, the ports were untouched. We ran on a 346 with a 22x camshaft.
The heads for the turbo test will be fully ported.

Kyle,
Our testing will probably be a month out. The All Pro heads are still in the porting stage, then rocker system fitment, then they will get spintron testing to find the best springs.
If you are comparing the 2 heads for forced induction, I would run the All Pro. If you are trying for power above the 1500hp mark, wait for our testing to be done and we can get you the right parts the first time. We are testing the parts to find the best combo before we sell them to you.<Shameless plug>

I guess AllPro will be good competition for AFR. I'm interested in seeing the boosted results for them as well because I had no idea about their LS1 castings. The LSx market is really starting to take off!

Kurt

Thats awsome you are doing the R&D for all of us. I know down the road i will be switching from my 6.0L's and going with what you find is the true performer on boost. Now these results were on your engine dyno correct? So that will be around 1400 to the ground or so.... im shooting for 800rwhp on a mustang dyno so almost 1000 flywheel. I know you can get the right parts becaus ei talked to Bob at All Pro and he said you and callies and like 2 others were there only distributors.
Ill be looking for the post on them.
Thanks
Kyle

How much Kyle, or are you not allowed to say?

BTW, Kurt, nice work, and keep it up. Thanks for being not only a good builder but also a true gear head. Many builders would not do the research and tell the general public what works for fear their competitors would get a hold of it, build on it, and out run them. Keep up the good work, and please let us know what the All Pros do. Since I'm no where near doing a build yet, it's great to learn all the info now for the future.

The bare castings are $1750.
If you have them port and ploished and the valve job done inhouse they are $2400
I had priced out a set with 72cc chambers and 2.08. 1.60 valves and using Inconel valves because of the extreme heat of the turbo for additional $350.
So about $2700-$2750 for them the way i want them.
And he said you can buy them staright from them and to give them 4 weeks to do them.

Good stuff. I do have a somewhat local guy (his car is my avatar) that does killer work on SBC. I know they've done some Gen III stuff. Next time I see them @ the track, I'm gonna talk to them. BTW, that car, 2100 HP 427 SB Pro Mod car. Hope they got their tire shake figured out this year so they can slay some of the mountain motor N20 cars. Yeah, that's with a thumper turbo.
