Didn't they already do tests that showed the LS6 intake performed better then the LS2?

I think I read today that someone with a FI setup switched to the LS2 and the pants dyno said there was more throttle response down low and more power up top. They haven't dynoed yet though. I can't find that post anywhere...

The list there is a lil off...... the weind/Lingenfelter was the worst...... worst then a LS1 intake...... now it ported will flow better and that is the advantage of it being aluminum. I have/had one on my car and i serious problems getting it to seat and seal.
Im going to hit my HP goal thru a LS1 intake Prob not, but i bet i could.

I swapped to an LS6 intake from an LS1 intake on my old 2K with a P1SC and gained absolutely nothing anywhere at the 500rwhp level.

it will make more of a diffrence with and N/A motor. A FI motor won't care that much for it.

exactly right

On a pull through (NA setup) The intake restriction is more apparent than on a push through blower/turbo setup up until you reach the saturation point of the intake and heads and more boost does not yield more power/CFM.

Yes i know what you were talking about and im telling you the Weind/Lingenfelter in its stock form flows worse then the LS1 intake.
You have the W/L as #3 and it was dead last..... Oh well im not going to my head over it.

Flipper,
My goal is 800rwhp on a Mustang dyno.

My guess is that you would gain 8-10 hp with the LS6 intake manifold. Not worth the money IMO for what you're doing.

I say get the best flowing for the least ammount of money, so that would mean the LS2, the absolute best flowing would be the GMPP single plane intake, however that is not a road that too many people would take. especially if its on a daily driver/low boost car.
