Default Turbo or Supercharger

I have a 01 WS6 with GTP stage 2 heads and the Thunder Racing 224 cam. I am wanting to go FI but was wondering which way to go. The blower route, twins, or a sinlge turbo? And what kind?

How much power do you want to make and how much do you want to spend?

With the H/C it made 441 RWHP. I guess I am wanting over 520. About $6000 is what I can spend.

If 6k is what you want to spend I suggest a S/C. Don't forget about all the little things that cost money when going with a boosted setup though.

ya, with 6k, your better off going either with a D1 or possible the budget turbo kits from phamspeed, however i think they haulted production on the budget kits. i would check with some of the sponsors and get some quotes from them.

The STS kit will give you the benefits of having a turbo with the installation and price of a supercharger. Go drive a turbo Fbody and supercharged Fbody and you tell us which one you like better.

$6,000 can get you a GT67(supports up to 750 crank horsepower) dual stage boost controller (so you flip a switch to go from 5 to 9 PSI) and Methanlo injection for 8 PSI. 8 PSI and methanol injection with the GT67 is good for 550 rwhp on a 100% stock LS1
