That is good but I didn't see that it was for an LT1 until later I know a few people who have recieved really good deals on the ones for the LT1's. I dont' know what the difference is except the LT1's are considerably cheaper now I guess it is becasue the LS1's are a little more popular newer etc...?

YSI is a great blower as well as the T trim. Only bad thing is you will have to get a custom bracket made for it. And they are in the $1400 range or around there the last time I checked. Diablo from the down south came up here and ran his T trim with the icebox loaded up on the 383 and did a 9.97 with the 100 shot behind it

Where I'm from there are no ATI kits. I've never even seen one. So I can't really comment. I just know that experience with Vortech has been great.
My car is running 493 RWHP with the Vortech kit, long tube headers and exhaust. No other upgrades to the engine at all. My buddy is running 499 on an identical setup. These numbers seem really high from what I've seen, but my hat is off to the tuner. He did a fantastic job.
As for quality, I don't see how it could have been any better.

I dont think price should be a factor. IMO. You should by the unit that best serves your needs. The Procharger served mine. I think Vortech makes a very nice product, I just did not prefer their approach.
Thanks for being nice about it.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

Bracket flex isn't the only problem...

Like I said time and time agian. "the kit sucks, but the head unit is top notch" Everytime I install a ATI kit this always comes out of my mouth. Allthough the Vortech kit is better engineered, I belive the ATI headunit is better. As far as effiectcy and the amount of air they move and the internal step up ratio.

Well yes I do believe you are corect because the G-trim is so small and was originally for 4&6 cylinder engines it is all the could fit under a Z28 hood. But with that said I think the smaller head until allows faster revs. So there are some good things that come out of it and bad such as higher air temps possibly for the same amount of air moved. I'm going to let this one die cause I am sure by this point he has made a definite choice and will be happy with it I am sure.
