Vortech vs. Procharger....
And thats who I bought it from
each setup will have a blower best suited for the combination.
a S trim is a GREAT blower, but would be bad for a civic, just as it would not be an ideal blower for a 502 chevy

Its not all about the all out power for me. I like to take my car and drive it home which is 300 + miles. The civic
YSI is a great blower as well as the T trim. Only bad thing is you will have to get a custom bracket made for it. And they are in the $1400 range or around there the last time I checked. Diablo from the down south came up here and ran his T trim with the icebox loaded up on the 383 and did a 9.97 with the 100 shot behind it
My car is running 493 RWHP with the Vortech kit, long tube headers and exhaust. No other upgrades to the engine at all. My buddy is running 499 on an identical setup. These numbers seem really high from what I've seen, but my hat is off to the tuner. He did a fantastic job.
As for quality, I don't see how it could have been any better.
I dont think price should be a factor. IMO. You should by the unit that best serves your needs. The Procharger served mine. I think Vortech makes a very nice product, I just did not prefer their approach.
Thanks for being nice about it.

Bracket flex isn't the only problem...
