Props are definitely well earned. I've seen this car go thru all its transitions and it's definitely a force to be reckoned with. Props to ALL involved cause you definitely can't get to this point on your own.

Yeah its a bad car indeed. He backed that run up with an 8.25@172.XX . And all on a production LT1 block.....lol. I believe 1500hp is possible with that motor and setup.

Is Rick running a girdle to tie the main caps together? Do you think the fact that the block is half filled is a large reason why it's holding up?
The power that car makes is just insane!
And them are some long *** wheelie bars! lol

No when I spoke to Rick he said he is not using a girdle (due to that fact no one makes one for the LTX block to clear the oil pan), and he is still running the factory caps on the mains...LOL. Its an amazing setup indeed and HPE (Chuck, Rick, Josh and the others) really did their homework on that motor. As for Block filler, well it really only helps the cylinders intergrity, it doesn't keep the bottom end from walking around. Which is even more amazing cause the LT1 with billet caps in the middle 3 and billet caps on the mains with a main cap girdle (which I am working on and to keep the stock pan as well) should make this motor darn near bulletproof. And not to $$$ either.

Jose, I believe Steve Quinn makes a LT1 main cap girdle. Don't know about using the stock pan, but at that point what's another $250 for an aftermarket pan.
Speaking of stock pans, how do you feel about them for high hp forced-induction applications with an upgraded pump?
