That's insane...I'd love to see that car run in person. They fainlly gotten the tire shake figured out in that thing I guess...I know HotRod said they couldn't get the HugexHuge Hoosiers figured out until late last season. MPH is good for 5s I guess they'll be adding a burst pannel somewhere now? At least that's where the boost came out and not somewhere "more expensive".

Try closer to 3000 HP. The 2400 is like detuned. If I remember correctly, it's somewhere around 35#s.

Looks like he was using the wrong couplers!

We just finished testing a 6 ply aramid .230" heavy wall.

The test was at 500ºF, 100PSI for 500hours.

Our 4 ply aramid hose failed at 149 hours of continuous boost at 500ºF so we just added a few more plies to make it work.

The test was performed by an oil/engine testing company that runs several diesel engines at full boost for 21-23 days per cycle. It was pretty interesting results!

So did the boost just plain tear up the couplers when he floored it, or do you think that when he let off the throttle and BOV's didn't work and excess boost found the first place to exit....though metal and silicone/rubber?? It looks like ****'s flying off at the top of the track.
