Thumbs up First ATI dyno #'s , need pulley help

Finally got everything together and made it to the tuner ( carolina auto masters ) 568 HP , 517 TQ , 12.5 A/F @ 5800 rpm . He did not want the car to boost over 9 psi. with the stock bottom end so the limiter is set at 5900 rpm to keep the boost in check . So , with a MMS crank pulley , what size blower pulley would I need to keep 9 psi. at 6700 rpm , or should I just keep this setup a while ? I'm running a 4.0 blower pulley now

It depends on everything else in the car, Going up in pulley size will drop boost, 4.10 is far enough and you will be fine.

That's pushing it for a stock bottom end. I'd fatten up the air fuel ratio too.

Yep I'd fatten it up a lil bit more. Run your a/f @ 11.7 for safety sake....and set the a/f on the street as it'll lean out going from the dyno to the street or so i'm told.

Thanks guys ,after looking at the sheet , the A/F is pretty flat at 12.0 then leans to 12.5 at 6K

I'd really watch out with that 12.5-1 A/F too.Dropping it to 11.5-1 will take 60hp or so away. You can also run that pulley and tune accordingly by dropping the timing in the high rpm area.I've been running 14lbs for over a year (without knock sensors). When I did a pull at 12.5-1 my #'s went over 600hp by 5500rpm,then I let off very quickly

Nice numbers. You may want to richin it up a little to be safe. PM me if you want a 4.1 pulley. I have an ATI one in my garage if you want to trade for your 4.0.

I would back up the timing and 12.5 is not good eather.Like slowhawk said 11.5 would be much safer.

If he's making 9 psi at 5800 now, and wants to run 9 psi at 6700, then he's going to have to go a lot bigger than .10" up on the blower pulley.

Leave the pulley setup alone..... if its not broke dont fix it......... and by spinning your motor lower it will live longer....... Like a bajillion people have said so far fatten up the tune and be happy with it.... then work on your other problem.......... Traction...

i have to agree i'm running 11.5 all the way across and the car made 615/600 with 3 bad wires, breaking up on the dyno. should be around 630-650 right about now, but i wont go any higher then 11.8:1 though.

Yep I'd leave the pulleys alone. Enjoy the fat powerband

I'd also consider richening it up a bit or running a bit of race gas for safety.
