Hmm, stock bottem end + 13 psi = ???
It = loads of fun!
Using my SMC alky kit I was able to get to 13 psi on 91 octane and know I could go higher if I dared. I can't even get the car to pull 1 degree of knock now. A/F is 10.8:1 with the alky on. Timing is 11 at the tq peak and ramps to 16 at 6500. Tried to get some 100 octane, but they were out. I need a bigger turbo, the 67 is just too small for my needs, but the 76 I have doesn't work well due to the turbine wheel being too big. Once I sell both i'll get a master power t70. I'm starting to worry about lifting the heads at this point. The car just kills the 275 nitto drags from a 70mph roll.
I tried running at the track tonight, but during my burn out (was just cleaning off the tires) the spec stage 4 clutch welded itself to the flywheel for a 2nd time and I never made a pass The previous spec stage 4 did the exact same thing, was broken in for 400 miles. This replacement was broken in for 1000 miles.
Eventually i'll get some track times.

You might be a candidate for finding the weak link in a stock shortblock (rodbolts?)!
I'm curious, are you using stock injectors? Have you altered any of the PCM injection parameters? My car has green tops and it is seeing too much fuel now since adding the alky kit.

Was that Conelly's car or Joe's?
