Methanol Injection

Is it possible to run a FMIC and meth. inj.? The purpose of methanol inj. is to cool the charge and raise octane correct? Methanol inj. makes it safer to run more boost correct? I was asking because turbosmart's e-boost2 has the ability to activate injection. So, I could set it to come on at 4 grand. Any help, ideas, etc. greatly appreciated.

oh yeah..methanol and alky is what most are doing. Since I am maxing out my incons, IATs get pretty hot and the alky cools it back down.

Yes its possible to run both. Run it after the intercooler.

Thanks. Could you give a more "in-depth" explanation. I am a FI newbie, and am looking at a kit. But I was also interested in running meth too!

Run it after the intercooler. First off, it isnt good to be running fluid through the intercooler. Second off, it is more efficient this way. Even if the meth alone could bring temps down to ambient after it went through the intercooler, the temps would raise.
