interested in a FI setup... pros & cons of S/C and T/C
please only reply if you have/had a FI setup.
also what complimetary mods should you have, cam (what duration/lift), gears, what flow numbers on heads, what exhaust and intake, injector size, aftermarket plugs, CR, and even tranny and tire height.
i think that should cover the spectrum of what is good and bad and also what should be used with a good bosted setup.
Thanks for your help!

i understand that but i thought the indepth of the question as far as supporting mods would be hard to search.
and was mabey hoping to pull all of the "newb" questions into one thread.

Disadvantages to a turbo: People bitch that it's unfair because they make too much power, car is much more fun to drive so you find yourself going WOT a lot more and using a lot more gas.
but on a side note check the turbo FAQs at the top, that should get you started what kinda power are you looking to make and what kinda "budget" (opps i said a bad word in the FI world lol), some pros and cons that I can think of off hand areturbo pros- NO belts, takes no power to make power, a better high horsepower application.
turbo cons- Heat in the engine compartment, weight, spool time, more complex sytem vs s/c
supercharger pros- instant power, alil less complex, less expensive,
supercharger cons- BELTS nuff said,
there is deffinatelt more but im tired my vote is turbo + built shortblock + nice heads + fuel + tuning + drivetrain - lotso money/broken parts = one happy person
