Talking Got started!!

Well I got the FMIC mounted up and the bumper cut. I got it really close to the front of the bumper without any problems.

lookin good so far...don't try to get too far ahead of me now

Is that mount pretty sturdy? I'm sure once all the IC pipes are ran and snugged up it'll be really rigid.
I burnt all my FMIC pics to disk for you though Guess you don't need em now

Yeah for the way it looks its pretty sturdy.. More then i thought it was going to be. But once I put the ic pipe's on and clamp it all up it will be rock solid. I used the pic's of your ic install for a starting point. So thanks.

Why did you mount it so far forward?

It's actually kinda cool if you wanted to keep the bumper support in tact.

But you cut yours so I am curious why you did it that way.

I didn't cut it, just didn't use it. I wanted to fmic as close to the front opening as I could, thats why I went so far. I still have about 3" from the very front to the ic.

I'd either use a speedscreen or a billet grill modded to fit in and leave it open like that!

I Will drive around with it open like that. But I do have the plate if I wanna go sleeper style. As far as the screen goes I never ran one with any of my other car's and never had a problem so I'll take the risk.

I was changing my valve spring's yesterday and lost one of my rocker bolt's. Does anyone here have a spare one laying around?

Nice job. I'd leave it open like that in the front. It will make people think twice before trying to run you.
