Default Another FI car running for the first time vid :)

Still have a little running out of fuel up top issue but its done and running well. Seeing 10-11psi at 6500rpm on a 78 degree day at 1500' elevation. 9.7:1 compression, 01 Z06 cam, ET performance CNC heads, 1 7/8 kooks headers, no cats, SDCE 8 rib with 7.25/4.0 pulley combo and an OBX FMIC.

I have no idea where the power is right now, probably around 500-525 through the unlocked 8" converter and 9 inch. I'll find out when I get the fuel fixed up.

Made several high rpm blasts and the belt stayed on fine and no slip, very happy with the SDCE setup so far. Put a couple hundred miles on it already, its a lot of fun to drive. Just have to put the roll bar in (finally got here) and figure out which seats I'm going to use.

Its running out of fuel at ~5800rpm right now. Just have the racetronix in tank and 57lb injectors. I'm trying to decide if I should just stick a BAP on it or redo the whole fuel system. I may have underestimated the power output a bit

Car sounds real good. Do they still have that 1/8 mile track near you or so you have to go to Bristol? You should bring that car to Bowling Green on Aug 6 for the LS1 Tech race you, me and PSJ could be some good competition for each other

There are three 1/8 mile tracks near here within driving the car distance, 411, crossville and knoxville dragway - all are above 1200' though so no fast times there. Bristol is one of the slowest tracks in the known universe and its so packed on their 'street fight' nights with ricers I dont even go anymore. Nice looking track though..

I go to BG about 6 times a year, its only 500 feet and has a nice shutdown, 237 miles one way, unload, race, load up and drive 237 mre miles back home makes for a looong day. I'll try to be at N vs S if I dont blow it up by then.

Put the roll bar in tonight and a few other little safety things on tonight. Car will be NHRA legal to 10.0000000 anyhow Just need to get the fuel straightened out and get it on the dyno for a bit and I'll be at the track. I have no idea what will run at this point because I havent weighed or dynod it yet but it looks damn cool if anything

Video should work now.

They are Bogart SS wheels and the rear tires ar 11.5x28x15, 27.5 inches tall. I chose those when I was going to make it mostly a driver but plans have changed. I'll burn these up and go with some 10.5x28 ET drags soon.

Sounds nice man! I can't believe you're hitting 11# with that 7.25/4.0 combo. I'm running the same combo and only hittin 6.5# at 6100. Of course I'm up here in the clouds though.

No, there is an open mondo bypass that points out of the front under the turn signal and it makes a lot of extra noise.

I'm just going to do the BAP for now, that + the 255 in tank should be enough, maybe I'll do the rails/regulator and a twin in-tank 255 a little down the road. I took the fuel line off the filter and it took like 5 minutes to move a gallon. Maybe the line popped off in the tank or something but I cant see it getting 60psi at idle if the line popped off, I should have it on the dyno this week if I can get the fuel fixed.

well if you are running out of injector then you could do the -8an feed, bigger rials, adj. FP Reg. sitting on the stock feed using it as a new return and raise your base FP to make the injectors bigger that way...... just a thought.
