definately sticking with the 4l80e, i drive the hell out of it and need the over drive and lock up.

Did it let go completly or is one or 2 gears gone..???? How long till you know what in it broke?? Warranty????

prety sure it is under warrenty, i lost everything and it feels like it is neutral no matter what gear i put it in. chuck thinks it may be the input shaft.

i am pulling it today.

i am kind of chucks(finish line transmission) R&D guy for the trucks. he builds them and i find the weak link. then he makes them better. i have been thru this before with my last truck and 4l60e and it seems like it takes about 3-4weeks total to get it back in my truck and running. chuck has always been more than fair with me.

i am going to get a restall too while it is down. this new turbo is prety slow to spool but spools fast when i am rolling along and it downshifts. to me that sugests my stall is too tight. this kind of makes it not all bad news.

it's not really a big deal, i expect things to break and adding a larger turbo is going to get me up to the next power level where something may break.

Your truck is just plain sick. You need to start selling turbo kits. How bout a kit for a stright six trailblazer, or F-body

talk to cmotorsports, that is where the kit came from. i changed a few things around a little but most of it is their creation.
