unintercooled boost limit?

unintercooled boost limit? I have heard that on lt1's you can run 6 psi unintercooled and 9 psi intercooled, but that is with 10.5:1 compression, but I just built the bottom end with forged pistons and rods, with 21 cc dishs, giving me a cr of 9.25:1, what would be my limits on intercooled and unintercooled on pump gas.

my brothers mustang is 9.5:1 and he has been running 9psi non intercooled for years. 20+ degrees of timing to boot. runs great no issues. you certainly wont get the max out of your setup non intercooled but you can do it.
Think about alkyl... I see a difference of 100F using 8 GPH water/ethanol 50-50.
6 PSI, 12.5 AFR, 24* timing and no KR.
New dyno numbers in a week or two. In my sig it was with 10.5 AFR and 21* timing.
This could be an alternative to an IC, don't you think?

I plan on throwing an intercooler in after a mounth or so, I just want to get some track time in now that I have gone from a supercharger to a turbo, and I don't want to push it to much, So I figured since most people on hear know what they are talking about I would try to get my ?'s answered, it looks like 9 is safe unintercooled, anyone else?
