Default Can I add BOVs to an Incon TT kit?

Where would they be placed? Which ones work well? Are they difficult to install?

depends on what kinda maf you are running. you running a pull through or a blow through? it obviously has to be before the throttle body, so depending on the type of maf you have it should either be before the maf or after it.

The old Incon 'shop' car had twin 25mm Forge BOV's mounted on the piece where the aux injectors were to go. SS2win had the car and sent me a couple of pics, you may want to PM him.

Dave the aux injectors are behind the maf, not before at least on my kit. The BOV would have to be before the maf otherwise you would go way rich when they open.

wow behind the maf? is that the stock maf? generally the bov needs to be before the maf otherwise as red ws6 99 mentioned, it would be extremely rich when they went into action.

didn't say I liked it but that's how it is now. The best place would be somewhere between the turbos and the IC? Oh well gonna ditch the MAF RSN.

The twin Forge BOV's are actually a Twin Piston design that is used to close the valve from venting to atmosphere in low boost/vacuum conditions. Thus, it is closed at idle and not venting like typical BOV's so there is no maf issue at idle. Ultimately, the two 25mm valves were used to accomplish the same thing as running a TIAL 50mm, from a volume standpoint as you are pushing over 50lbs/min of airflow and must relocate that air quickly when you close the throttle. When I worked at Forge we used this twin piston style valve with success after the MAF on numerous cars like the wrx, evo, eclipse, VW, Audi, Porsche, etc.... when nobody THOUGHT you could run an atmospheric venting valve. I had the perfect provision with the two injector mounts to run these valves rather than modifying the silicone or "***" pipe prior to the MAF to run one, or two, single piston or single diaphragm valves. It will work either way but there is truly a problem with finding quality valves in the marketplace. Tial, APS, and Forge stand ahead of most on quality and dependability compared to GFB, HKS, Greddy, TurboXS. TurboSmart looks very good but I didn't have a chance to dismantle one and take a look at the inner workings as I had with the other brands.
