Is this the F-Body kit you were working on?

I bought a AlkyControl kit 2 weeks ago, should be here next week.

No this is the universal SMC kit. We are still working on the Fbody kit but it will be priced considerably higher given all the custom components.

How would a f-body kit and a universal kit differ? How does the universal kit get injected into the intake? Do i have to drill a hole in my intake pipe and have a injector put the alky in. Will the f-body kit have a kind of plate system like nitrous people have for some kits? Thanks

I'm running this setup and am very happy with it. Installation is very simple. I mounted my tank right next to the radiator behind the tail light. The pump is mounted to the shock tower.

You set the initial turn on point by boost, then set the second boost point higher. This is when the pump hits full speed. The progressive feature works very well. I have a very flat and consistant a/f no matter what my boost is set at.

I have one made for the turbo buick's (sqaure bottle), I just needed a longer supply hose (which SMC provided). Mine is mounted behind the passanger head light and works very well.

Later,

Default Sweetening the deal

Hi Everyone,

Spoke with SMC and they are offering a choice of two resevoir bottles:

1/2 gallon 6" x4"x10.5"
1 gallon 13" x 4.5" x 7"

OR

If you send in your windshield washer resevoir to SMC, they will install the fittings for you for free! You just pay shipping each way.

The pump is externally mounted and they are using a new design which does not require lube.

We also need to know approximately how long you need the pressure hose from the pump to be.

The kits use a nozzle which you have to drill into your intake tubing as close to the throttle body as possible.
