I was just wondering if any of the Phanspeed budget kit people had put their kits on a car yet? Looking to see some pics, and how the groud clearance is, for those that have started if there is anyone that has?

yeah i posted a buncha pics and it was going to go on over memorial weekend cause i had a 4 day weekend...but the 69firebird along with other people had to go and get my mind on a forged SB...which i paid the half up front on last night.....DAMN you people so now im waiting til schools out for the summer in like 7 weeks and do the motor and turbo all at once....they told me the SB will be good for <=20psi or 1000rwhp whichever comes first. do a search on me and look for something like "big package came" or something

believe it or not its still a good price.i also have a thread on the price breakdown minus the extra stuff and i save a bit but its still worth it.pick up a set of 02 exhaust mani's for cheap(got mine for $70 shipped) and boost away

Im not totally sure when mine is going to come in, Its supposed to be here by the end of the month. The Headers that I sent them, it for some reason threw a big kink in the works. and then his sudden move, all has slowded it down. John and I talked and he said hed be done the end of this month, I sure hope he comes through, but I still havent gotten the forged internals that I ordered so its kinda a moot point currently.

it is its just referred to as the budget kit cause they dont offer the header kit anymore and its the same kit just at a different price.

that sucks....im sure the same thing will happen to you that happpened to me....nothing here waiting wait waiting and then all of a sudden i got my turbo kit, FMIC,and heads all within like 4 days.cheer up!

Oh ive gotten enough stuff to string me along, its just that I ordered my kit before you, and still dont have it. I orderd the kit right after dyneta, but since its partially my fault I suppose I cant bitch too much.

Once engine internals get here ill be happy, can get the motor built, and start putting things together. Everything on this project has taken longer than it was supposed to, and then some
still alot of fabrication to do, I did however get my new radaitor in on friday, and yesterday cut the front frame rail out boxed in the supports and welded up the new cross member, it looks like there will be enough space that I could probally reuse the stock fans. But ill still prolly use some aftermarket ones.

Tings are looking up, I just need to get the motor put in so I can get the car back in the garage and then would like hte turbo kit to start making the intercooler piping..

Just doesnt seem to ever end

I ordered mine the day after Dyneta said he was thinking about getting his, it was late feb-mid march.

I dont remember exactly, I have been waiting a bit of march, all of april, all of may, and this lil bit of june.

Its been a while.
I may be off on the dates, but thats the way I remember it
