We can install the girdle on the C5R block. We have not built a high power C5R with a girdle yet.

Have you guys looked into doweling the blocks, typically that is the best way to prevent cap walk, on our 2000+HP Pro-Street stuff it is simply a splayed billet 4 bolt cap with about a 5/16" dowel pin between the bolts. At this power level they walk very little but I think no matter what you do there will be some movement.
