Passing the sniffer with a turbo

My smog guy here in ca only really cares if the car passes the sniffer and has a cat. He doesn't care if the cat is not in the stock location. My question is will a large single turbo affect the sniff test? Looking to forge the bottom end and install the PTK single with a 4" mufflex cat back with a high flow 4" cat somewhere in there. Will my car pass the sniffer? thanks for the input.

I would think the turbo wouldn't make any difference at the rpms used in the test; the cam is the important factor (and tuning, of course).
My 224/224/114 0.588 (with long tubes) passed the CA sniffer... but barely.
