Guess I'm going to go a different route with the car. No time to race it anymore due to our girls playing sports and Mollie and I going all different directions with them and none of those directions are to the race track anymore. So my plan is to put the car back close to stock, so I have a lot of stuff for sale.

#1 F-1 Procharger, Steel J-bracket, SDCE 8 Rib spring loaded tensioner,ATI crankshft damper,inlet hat,mounting studs and spacers.=$4200(all is new and never ran more than 10 min)

#2 FMIC(900 hp),3 inch aluminum piping,t-bolt clamps,silicone hose couplers,silicone transition hose(3 to 3.5 and 3 to 4),ATI Race bypass valve,IAT sensor mounted in 3 inch pipe. This is a complete set up from the supercharger to the throttlebody(everything needed)=$900(all is new and never ran more than 10 min)

#3 Rossler 400 turbo with trans brake, midwest 3500 stall torque convertor,gear-venders overdrive unit, steel driveshaft,tranny cooler and lines,factory shifter reworked by Mike Brown to work with the reverse shift pattern in the 400 turbo.= $3800(very low miles)

#4 9 inch moser rear end(35 spline with a spool) with Spohn drag sway bar= $2200

#5 Shortblock=5.3 iron block- bored 125k over to a 3.910 bore-forged pistons-billet rods-stock crank-Comp R lifters-cam for supercharger,C5R timing chain(built by Reckless=Todd Brandon)
Heads= APE ported 6.0 heads,317 casting
For the longblock(no intake,oil pan,or front and rear covers)= $3500

#6 Two 28 X 10.5 X 15 W MT Drags(brand new, never mounted)=$350

#7 Set of Yellow Terra 1.7 ratio rocker arms(almost new)= $375

#8 Aeromotive A-1000 fuel pump(used very little)= $175

#9 Reichard Racing 3.5/6 rib supercharger pulley=$90

#10 Two 15 X 3.5 Weld Drag Lites with Moroso Drag Fronts(8ply),
Two 15 X 10 Weld Drag Lites with 26 X 10.5 X 15 MT Drags(tires have a few passes left)
Lug nuts,spacers, center caps= $600

#11 Kirkey Economy Drag Seat,aluminum,17.5 hip width,black snap on cover(Brand new, never mounted)= $125

Nope never got to run the car with the F1 and FMIC.

Hawk, I hate doing it also, but the car has been done for over a month now and it still has yet to see the outside of the garage. The family is taking all my time, no time to have fun with the car anymore.

i bet if you took it for a spin youd have a harder time parting it.
come to think of it it will take more of your time parting it out then just enjoying it on occation.
so since your family is taking all of your time, you have no time to part it out, just use it to drive it back and forth to work

 

Wow Tom! Kinda thought this may be coming. You have been laying so low on the forums lately. If anyone is thinking about buying from Tom, he is a good friend and I can vouch for him completely!

Tom..... ...hope you stay close to the scene...hasn't been the same without you! I completely understand the family issues....I'm there with you on that. Luckly I'm on the downhill side of those responsibilities.

I bet that shortblock has less than 6000 miles on it. I built it in Hawaii about 3.5 years ago for my turbo setup. I sold my turbo, and made a few passes on the motor with N2O (less than 5). Then moved to Ohio and sold the SB to Tom and helped him install it. I really doubt he has put 1,000 miles on it, and maybe I put 2,000 on it. I'd say between 3000 and 6000 miles.

I think I still have the parts list from ARE from when I ordered the parts.

 

Can you pm me the info on the wheels. Interested, but don't need the rear tires. Maybe we can work a deal. Mine got stolen from my house on monday so I need replacements.

 

Tom is definatly a good guy, if it wasnt for him i wouldnt have known about ls1tech

do they have one for a th350 also?

gear vendor overdrive unit.
ya think it can hook to a th350.
its an extra unit that can hook to the back of the transmission providing it with a high/low gear, so you turn a 3 speed into a 6speed, a 2 speed into a 4 speed.
