Incon wishlist....Previous owners come in
Better turbos?
Larger capacity intercoolers?
etc.
Post up your thoughts...
There are only two things that I would and will change after my engine rebuild. 1. A better FPR. (theirs was a little spotty) 2. A BOV. (there was none, and for 5 psi, it could slide, but not for double that)
The scavenge pump does not bother me. If it did, I would plunk down the $400 for a better one. The intercoolers I believe are more than up to the task, especially if you cut access windows for air to flow where the fog lights were. I believe the charge pipes are more than up for it.
It is the best street FI kit for these cars, and more important for me, it looks to last a long time.
- Large front mount intercooler instead of the two smaller cores in the wheel wells. It would simply get a lot more flow if it were located in the nose of the car. This would also result in only a single charge pipe to the TB and get rid of the '***-pipe' which I never really liked.
- I would go with more readily available turbo options then the GT series stuff and a t3 exhaust instead of the t28 that the Incon setup used.
- I'd like to see the turbos moved up a bit more so that the scavenge pump system is not necessary...if this isn't possible then I would like to see a crank driven pump and not an electric unit.
- Some hard-piping where the Incon hoses tend to get pinched or rub.
Other then those things I think that the Incon kit was right on the money for a street kit that offered great performance and the ability to keep A/c and P/S. There is a reason that a ton of people (myself included) think that the Incon setup was/is the best street kit that has been offered for the f-body.

I really would keep the rubber charge pipes. Have you ever seen how tough they are. Like radiator hoses with cord sandwiched between rubber. Its good to have some things give a little bit.

But the type of person that buys a Fbody is more willing to mod (usually) than the type of person that buys a vette (again usally)

The hoses would probably be a lower priority to me though...use of generic turbos, a large intercooler, and lack of or mechanical scavenge system would be the best changes. I loved my kit, hell, I almost bought another f-body to put it on instead of selling it.
My oil pump(tiltion) realy sucked. I have a belt driven one now.
The weldon 9200 pump is a good candidate for the scavenge. I tried to go with the LPE mechanical pump a few years back but ed potter was not interested in helping us out at that time.
I would imangine that having those silicone hoses made would drive up te cost some. for a limited production run.
