Thinking Question.? If I can put 150wet kit on a car, with no other mods, and run fine.... Why does the turbo require some retard at the same power level... The reason for the question of corse is the truck project.

Because you've increased the dynamic compression ratio with boost, added some heat, etc.
The cylinder pressure prior to ignition is much lower with a nitrous motor, which means less need to retard the timing to avoid pre-ignition.
