Default used procharger Question?

I'm looking at getting a used D1SC, the kit is the head unit, a FMIC, and some misc piping. I would need brackets, & fuel system. my question is can I get the brackets from procharger? Also, Are all head units the same, or are the vehicle or engine specific? I don't know what the head unit came from, only it has 500 miles on it.

You will need to call Procharger and order what you need. The bracket and mounting hardware is like $250. You can order it directly from Procharger or maybe from a sponsor.

Thanks, I'm still looking at kits. Used head units come up sometimes, or incomplete kits. Just don't want to get screwed. I will talk to slowhawk before I make any purchase, just to be sure.

With any front mount setup we will have to cut up the front frame setup. For some reason I don't think you would want to do that.

Buying a used kit will save a lot of money. I wanted to go this route but I couldnt find a used kit, only parts. So I went ahead and started buying up Procharger parts until I got a whole kit. I got the head unit, intercoolers, polished plenum, crank and blower pulley, standard bypass valve, AIR relocation bracket, and all of the piping used. New, I got a Spal fan, not the crappy ATI one, two-piece fan shroud, radiator support, blower bracket with special two-idler system, another blower pulley, air inlet hat, larger K&N air filter, ATI race bypass valve, and horn relocation bracket. Now with a Racetronix fuel pump and harness, 60# injectors, electric fuel pressure and boost gauges, all of this ran me a little less than $4k. That's almost two grand cheaper than a new kit, with a better fuel system, gauges, and bypass valve than you get in the kit. Really the only "used" part is the head unit, all the other used parts look practically brand new, and dont wear out. It took me about three months to collect all the parts, a couple days to install.

Good luck.

Call ATI with the serial number and they can tell you what the head unit was built for.

I think we could work on cutting the frame for the HP gain. But with the normal 2 small intercoolers, you don't have to cut anything right?

No cutting in necessary for the ATI kit. You will need to drill some holes though.
