Turbo LS1 Nova construction pics

well havnt touched it in a few monthes, but i took it to work last week and made some progress on the turbo piping. This is the first time i attempted to make a turbo system, and also doing an LS1 swap in my 72 Nova.

The intercooler looks funny

Other than that i would say you are doing a superb job on the fabrication end. What are you using for engine management? BS3? Megasquirt? Something else?

A w2a intercooler would be nice it there. Project is going to be bad *** when your done.

theres another page my buddy made it should work.

Intercooler is in a tight spot. the corners are all notched and the squared looking radius is there cause the grill is so close. the area and volume is still all there. once i get it all cleaned up and the grill back in place i'll post a pic.

As of engine management, I plan on using the stock f-body PCM for now and see how it works.
Right now i just have a 5.3 shortblock with a set of ported 6.0 heads on it.
this is just an "experimental" shortblock, once i get it all tuned and running decent i plan on building a shortblock for it. Im kinda building it backwards, im building the turbo setup i want, then the engine that can handle it after.
