Default compression? 6.0 Heads on 5.7 block

I've searched this & can't find an answer. Even a good guess will help. How much would a set of stock 6.0 Heads on a Stock Piston 5.7 LS1 drop the compression?

I'm thinking from 10.1:1 down to maybe 9.6:1... But it's hard to say. If the 6.0's were 72cc, and your stock heads are 67cc, then it's a drop of 5cc. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable might chime in. I'm running 6.0's but I have custom pistons.

I think PSJ is pretty close. If you're looking for a set of 6.0 heads i have some for sale. PM me if you're interested.

ive been told anywhere from 9.4:1 to 9.6:1 depending on your gasket used.

I have read mid 9s:1 as well. Here is a sticky in the internal section about compression ratios and chamber sizes.

If you used a .054 gasket you would be right at 9.44:1 considering your head is 72cc's.
Others say the head is a 71.24cc which would give you 9.52:1 CR.
Now if you use a .060 gasket you would get
72cc = 9.32
71.24 = 9.4

Dont go with a thicker head gasket to drop compression..... that is not the way to do it.......why risk blowing a head gasket.
Most stock 6.0L heads are a 71.2cc's so with them you will be right around 9.5:1.... like others have said.

I agree, but I believe the 6.0 Trucks use a .060 gasket so that is why I threw those numbers in there.
