Default Ordered the 3.7 pulley

I finally ordered the 3.7 from SDCE > and cant wait! Its pretty bad when you start checking the ups web site 2-3 times a day! I hope to make 10-13 psi and hopefully hit my 550 goal. Not looking to shred any records, I just want to haul some *** and 550 should get me there......maybe that ups driver needs a procharger > hurry up!!!!!

3.7 for 10-13#??? Its is going to be close I am running a 3.7 and ati superdampner 7-5/8 and only seeing a good 8 and low 9 #. But with a good tune you should be able to hit 550. I am at 540, on a 95deg day as well.

I have a flowmaster (clog master) and stock ls1 intake > so I should see 10-13psi. I don't really care how much boost I make > I just want to hit 550 > the boost is just fluff talk if you know what I mean...

his sig says 8 rib SDCE

I am seeing ~12psi @ 6600rpm with the 3.7 on a D1SC, it was 10psi with a 4" pulley and 14psi with the 3.4" through the hooker cat back just to give you an idea but I'm at 1500' and 90+ degree temps. A P1SC is usually 2-3psi less then a D1 for the same size pulley.

618Hawk and I are at 8000 DA up here in Denver colorado.. You loose 20% to 23% power AKA Boost.. I'm running an D-1SC blower 8" Crank 3.4" Blower pulley and I'm seeing max of about 14 to 15psi of boost at 6500 engine rpms on a cool day. That's about 62,500 impeller rpms I'm spinning that D1 to..

Gotta love the air up here...

Thats about right.... with a 408......i would see 10-11 wih my 370 and a 3.4" pulley... the bigger cubes is were its going........ you might have to step up to a bigger head unit if you are wanting to make alot more power.

nowhere near it, 6500rpm is only 52K on the impeller - you have 10K+ more to go. Unless you plan on shifting at 8000rpm you are just fine

I would be more concerned with those 42lb injectors, they most likely wont get you past 550rwhp..

Kev's right 52K rpms.... its easy to figure out man...
tahe the crank pulley size in "s
in your case 7.25 and divide it by the blower pulley 3.7" = 1.959 X that by the blower steup up ration of 4.10 = 1.959X4.10=8.03 then X that by your peak RPM so 8.03X6500rpm= 52,219 rpm
I sat buy the 3.4" pulley and s et of 60# injectors and another walbro 340 intank

From the looks of the way the 42lbers handled on the last tune I should be ok. The key is should be....
But you are right kp > they won't get me a whole lot more than 550. May be I'll make 551 and just be a luck guy.....
