Default Coming out with twin turbo kits for C5's

Well, it's a toss up right now in the shop about what car we should build turbo kits for. The toss up is between the Mustang Cobra 03+ or the C5's. I kinda want to see a show of hands on people that are interested. The base kit will probably have T3/ 54mm turbos. It'll be a complete kit, with intercoolers for around $8000. These are just rough numbers

Plus Cobra owners are not nearly as likely to be looking for a turbo setup for an already blown car.

Cobras already have plenty of different options. I dont think any Cobra owner wants to spend 8K on a turbo system when a 5K S/C upgrade puts em at 700hp. Those engines will only take so much.

already a few people that have or working on developing TT kits for a C5, you should try to develop a TT kit for an F body that retains all accessories.

I think you'd be making a big mistake by building a kit for '03 Cobras. Take that from a guy with a Kenne Bell '03 Cobra.

I can't speak to the Mustang market as I know nothing about it, but the C5 turbo market is getting pretty saturated. There is LPE, TTi, PTK, STS, and soon to be A&A.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for th input guys. I think we're going to hit the C5 market first. Our goal is to make them as complete as possible yet make them affordable

Thanks again
