mutliple spark?

mutliple spark? I know somewhere I have heard about FI setups being able to take advantage of multiple sparks per burn cycle... do any of you do this on your LS? setup? Are the factory coils/ECUs capable of this?

I didn't think the multi-spark coils were out yet from MSD, at least that's what I saw in one of their mag ads. I know another board member was being the developmental horse for an over seas piece (also to be sold state side) and I have not heard an update as of yet.

John, plain and simple, they have more kick. I think MM is running them. Harlan ran them. I think everyone that has gone to the 7s and back in this forum has run them.

Wow 7's... sounds like it's for people that are pretty serious. I know MSD has LS1 coil packs called Blaster Coils... the Summit add says they are capable of multiple spark but doesn't say if you need special computer programming to get that. Do you?
They're $75 each... that would be $600 for a set. What do you think the potential horsepower gains are on an FI setup?

No no, I meant the truck coils. Sorry.
Ok Dave, I couldn't remember if you had switched over to the truck coils or not...my bad.
