Default new blower pulley and new numbers

Well I switched over to the 3.7 pulley and something in my fuel system has met its match! Not bad, but at 6700rpms or so I hit 13.1 af. The good news is it increased HP and TQ a whole lot! Made 561 hp and I think it was 478 rwtq. Now I just have to find the weak link > injectors or fuel pump. Either way I'm very happy with the results!

Gomer is running the numbers and I'm sure he'll jump in and explain where we are at.

I would say it's your injectors. I still have 42's and they are @ 94% duty cycle. Time for some 60's. By the way cingrats on the new #'s.

I'm going to try a regulator and see if that helps me. I'm not lean untill last 2-3 hundred RPMS. Is 13.1 really bad or just bad?

I dont think it is horrible as you say it only lasts for 2-300 rpms. If it was for a couple thousand you would melt a piston. Goin lean makes it alot hotter and the worry isnt bad for a short period of time liek you have. You should definatly try to get more furl there but for the once in a while that you venture there neway im sure its fine. Having forged coated pistons really helps also. GL man

13.1 on boost is no good at all
Upgrade your injectors, you've reached their limits with a s/c'ed set up i'd think.

Pete is running the stock regulator with his setup. His fuel system is a racetronix PnP system and Motorsports 42lb injectors with stock lines and such. He's ok up to 6200rpm, and then it spikes lean from 11.8:1 to 13:1 when it reaches 6700rpm. I'm going to add a 1:1 rate regulator to the car in hopes of a "quick fix" to his problem. I think his numbers are very good for his LS1 intake (Pete, you need to buy a LS6 intake and ported TB), Mac mid length headers with their 2.5 inch Y-pipe.. and my favorite part of the exhaust... the Flowmaster Cat-back. I'll post up the dyno sheet and A/F graph in the morning... it has been one hell of a long day.

Here's a graph vs. time. The tach pickup was screwy last night and I can't get it to graph vs. RPM. How much do you guys think he will pick up from ditching the flowmaster catback and adding a set of true duals with an X-pipe? I think the torque will really come up.

Also, what does everyone think is the maximum rwhp attainable with a racetronix PnP fuel pump assuming you have the supporting injectors? Do you think adding the 1:1 rise regulator to his system will cure the problem up top? The injectors were running 20ms at 6500rpm on that run.

btw.. I only have 19* of timing in it up there where it goes lean. It didn't get any knock retard last night on the dyno and it was hella hot and humid in there. I'm not worried about him hurting it right now, but I want to fix this problem before he does the exhaust upgrade, I know it will make a good bit more power then.

Good numbers... How much are u seeing? Who installed your rods and pistons? U need 60lbs injectors... I had the same problem around 550rwhp with the 42lbs. Good luck.
